Private Ceremonies with Anthony: A Journey of Personalized Kambo Healing

Private kambo ceremonies are by far my most favorite offering.
Unlike group kambo retreats which are healing in their own amazing way, private kambo sessions allow me to focus on one client at a time for an entire day, exploring multiple full body detox treatments and indigenous cleansing therapies.

While most traditional kambo rituals last an hour or 2 at most, I approach these one-on-one healing sessions as a full body detox, offering 5 different treatments that each bring their own profound healing purge to the table; Kambo being the rock star of the group.

This private ceremony is the culmination of over 20 years of practice and participation in countless mystical traditions and non-typical healing therapies from all over the world. When you and I enter the sacred space of this private ceremony, we are consuming and releasing the concentration of thousands of years of expansive intention.

This is my life’s work.
This is raw healing at its purest form.
This is my Love.

Below are the 5 treatments that you will submerge yourself into during our private full body detoxification cleanse.

Treatment #1 – Kambo

Kambo Application: Central to your private cleansing retreat, Kambo is a powerful cleansing agent from the heart of the Amazon. Applied via small burns on the skin, Kambo purifies the body, mind, emotional palette and spirit, offering numerous cleansing benefits, including boosting immunity and heightened senses. This full body detox experience lasts 30-40 minutes, and while it can be intense, the aftermath often feels rejuvenating.

The Kambo Purge: Lymphatic draining, liver dumping, kidney flushing, vomiting, somatic shaking, fever, sweating, nasal discharge, crying, digestive movement & gas, laughing, yelling, grunting and muscular contraction.

The Benefits of Kambo: potent body detoxification, boosted immunity, heightened senses, enhanced mental clarity, emotional release, spiritual awakening, physical rejuvenation, pain reduction, reduced inflammation, improved mood, and increased energy levels with antibiotic and antifungal benefits. This is the strongest organic detox program mother earth has to offer.

The Origins of Kambo: While Kambo is used by several indigenous tribes throughout the Amazon, its primary associations are with tribes in the Amazon rainforests of South America in countries such as Brazil, Peru, and Colombia.

Total Time For Kambo Experience: 1 to 2 hours

Treatment #2Sananga

Sananga Application: Administered as eye drops, Sananga is another gem from the Amazonian jungle tribes. It’s known to sharpen visual clarity and promote spiritual insight. It can sting for a moment, but many describe a sense of profound calm and heightened vision afterward.

The Sananga Purge: Unlike Kambo, Sananga doesn’t provoke the same type of physical purges often associated with detox. Instead, its purification process is more subtle, yet profound. Users might experience temporary stinging, tears, and heightened sensitivity to light. This “purge” represents a deep cleansing of ocular impurities and removal of energetic blockages as the medicine purifies the soft tissue of the user’s eyes by cleansing pollutants and ocular imperfections.

The Benefits of Sananga: Improved vision, both literally and metaphorically, opening of the third eye, deeper connection to the spiritual realm, alleviation of ocular diseases, reduction in mental disorders like depression and anxiety, heightened sense of presence, and balancing of energy within the body.

The Origins of Sananga: Sananga is derived from the roots and bark of the Tabernaemontana Undulata shrub found in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Indigenous tribes, especially in Brazil and Peru, have been using Sananga for centuries as a sacred tool for divination, vision quests, and to treat various ailments, solidifying its place in their spiritual and medicinal repertoire.

Total Time For Sananga Experience: 5-10 minutes

Treatment #3 – Nasya:

Nasya Application:An Ayurvedic nasal treatment typically incorporated in the revered PanchaKarma cleanse, Nasya offers a holistic touch to your one-on-one detox session regimen. Aiding in clearing sinuses, uplifting moods, and even enhancing voice clarity, this therapeutic approach proves invaluable for those struggling with inflammation, blocked tear ducts, and persistent headaches. It’s a rejuvenating blend of tradition and holistic health

The Nasya Purge: Release of accumulated mucus, anti-inflammation of the nasal cavity, clearing of nasal congestion, sensation of heightened clarity, focus and intensity. It is not uncommon for users to dispel up to 16 ounces of mucus during the process.

The Benefits of Nasya: Clearing of sinus passages, mood elevation, improved voice clarity, headache relief, decreased inflammation, rejuvenation of nasal and respiratory channels, and detoxification of stored mucus, one of the most life reducing by products of the human body.

The Origins of Nasya: Nasya finds its roots in ancient Ayurveda, a holistic medical system from India dating back thousands of years. As a quintessential component of the PanchaKarma (translated to 5 treatments or 5 actions) cleansing process, it stands as a testament to Ayurveda’s comprehensive approach to total well-being.

Total Time For Nasya Experience: 30-40 minutes

Treatment #4 – Abhyanga (Hot Oil Medicinal Massage) & Gharshana (Dry Brushing) with Gua Sha (body scraping) :

Abhyanga Massage Description:This massage is unlike any other healing treatment offered by western practitioners and is rarely practiced by Kambo facilitators and outside of Kambo is my favorite detoxifying treatment in the full day private sessions I offer my clients.

Medicinal hot oil massage, dry brush exfoliation and Gua Sha scraping.

We begin by heating up a specific mixture of medicinal oils and healing botanicals that penetrate the skin and help activate the lymphatic system, stimulate blood flow, nourish your hair, heal the skin and calm the spirit.

This massage is unlike any other healing treatment offered by western practitioners and is rarely practiced by Kambo facilitators and outside of Kambo is my favorite detoxifying treatment in the full day private sessions I offer my clients.

Medicinal Botanicals of choice include:

Sesame Oil: (Seed oil, rich in antioxidants)

Coconut Oil: (Fruit oil, deeply moisturizing)

Jojoba Oil: (Mimics skin’s natural oils, rich in vitamins and minerals)

Bhringaraj: (Herb, boosts hair health)

Brahmi (Gotu Kola): (Herb, promotes cognitive health)

Ashwagandha: (Adaptogen, reduces stress & inflammation)

Turmeric: (Spice, potent anti-inflammatory)

Neem: (Medicinal tree, antibacterial & antifungal properties)

Amla (Indian Gooseberry): (Fruit, high in antioxidants & vitamin C)

Guduchi: (Herb, boosts immunity & digestion)

Manjistha: (Herb, purifies blood & improves skin tone)

Arjuna: (Bark, supports cardiovascular health)

Not all of these healing herbs will be used but the ones that are will be carefully chosen for you based on your specific needs. Once the oil is blended it will be slowly poured onto your third eye, where it will run onto your scalp, face and neck. I will also manually pour the mixture onto the rest of your body where it will warm your senses and calm your mind.

From there, the rhythmic and repetitive motion of my hands stimulating your muscles encourages blood flow while continuing to release any unprocessed somatic muscle tension held over from your earlier Kambo ceremony. This lasts for an hour.

We spend the next 30 minutes focusing on deep tissue exfoliation by dry brushing your entire body with a two-stage detoxidermis brush, specifically designed to gently remove the first layer of your dry surface skin cells while further promoting lymphatic drainage from your healing Kambo session.

The final stage of our Ayurvedic massage is the removal of the detoxifying oils via a traditional Gua Sha.

The Gua Sha is a tool used in Chinese medicine designed to scrape across the skin to promote circulation, reduce inflammation, improve skin tone, and relieve tension. We use it to remove the oils from your skin which invites us to proceed to the final stage of your private full body detox ceremony, the detoxifying Steam Bath.

The Abhyanga Massage Purge:As the warm oils are massaged into the skin, the pores are opened while the botanical medicines are absorbed into the body allowing for a profound sense of calm and warmth enveloping each muscle, with a deep release of tension. The rhythmic strokes stimulate blood flow, aid lymphatic drainage, which is the perfect way to foster a state of equilibrium in the body after your detoxifying Kambo session.

Increased blood flow helps deliver nutrients from the antioxidant rich detox drink you’ve been drinking while the release of somatic tension from your muscle memory helps you to ease into a deeper sense of relaxation, presence and healing, letting go of all that does not serve your highest self.

The Benefits of Abhyanga Massage:Promotion of skin vitality, enhanced blood circulation, deep relaxation, muscle tension relief, improved joint mobility, elimination of impurities, increased longevity, and a rejuvenated sense of balance and harmony within. The act is also believed to strengthen the immune system, enhance stamina, and soothe the nervous system allowing for greater mental, emotional and spiritual healing via the somatic release of the body.

The Origins of Abhyanga Massage:While Abhyanga hot oil massage originated thousands of years ago in the sacred texts of ancient India, the full body detoxifying massage treatment that I’ve cultivated above have been collected and structured during my two decades worth of healing studies in a variety of countries for a number of reasons.

Total Time For Ayurvedic Hot Oil Massage Experience: 90 to 120 minutes

Treatment #5 – Ayurvedic Steam Bath:

Ayurvedic Steam Bath Description:An integral element of traditional Ayurvedic therapy, the steam bath leverages the power of medicated steam to drive toxins out of the body.

First, herbal oils are rubbed into the skin of the body during the full body detoxifying massage (outline above in step 4). Then we hydrate with an invigorating elixir of cold pressed juices, packed with electrolytes, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants as you prepare to enter the steam room to release toxins, pollutants and the excess of metabolic water accumulated in your day to day life.

As the body perspires, it not only releases waste but also rejuvenates and refreshes the skin, leaving an undeniable glow. Coupled with aromatic herbs, this treatment offers both detoxification and relaxation in one holistic package.

The Ayurvedic Steam Bath Purge:Sweating, opening of skin pores, elimination of toxins through perspiration, relaxation of muscles, and a deep sense of calm. For some, there might be an initial sense of heat or discomfort, but it quickly gives way to a state of relaxation and calm.

Solutes that are released by the body via the perspiration system include:

Water: Approximately 99% of sweat is water, which is why staying hydrated is crucial when you’re sweating heavily.

Salts: These include sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Sodium is the primary electrolyte in sweat and helps maintain fluid balance in and around cells which is why it’s important that we supplement with an appropriate level of electrolytes. Kambo can be quite draining, so we need to make sure your body is optimally fueled and balanced the entire time you are detoxifying.

Urea: This is a waste product that your body excretes through both urine and sweat.

Lactic Acid: Often produced during intense physical activity and massage.

Amino Acids: These are the building blocks of proteins.

Glucose: A simple sugar that provides energy to the body.

Vitamins: Sweat can contain small amounts of vitamins, particularly B-complex vitamins.

Proteins & Peptides: In small amounts.

Antibodies: Part of the immune system’s response.

Hormones: Such as cortisol.

Metabolic waste: Various waste products from cellular processes.

It is for this reason why your entire day will be packed with fresh juices, electrolyte drinks and trips to the bathroom. Hydration is paramount to the natural detoxification process.

Benefits of Ayurvedic Steam Bath:Detoxification of the body, enhanced skin glow, improved circulation, relaxation of muscles, alleviation of joint pain, improved respiratory function, reduced stress levels, and rejuvenation of both body and mind.

The Origins of Ayurvedic Steam Bath: This therapeutic bath finds its beginnings in the age-old traditions of Ayurveda, India’s holistic healing system. For thousands of years, it has been utilized in various Ayurvedic treatments, particularly the PanchaKarma. Recognized for its detoxifying properties, the steam bath exemplifies Ayurveda’s commitment to harmonizing the body’s internal and external worlds.

Total Time For Ayurvedic Steam Bath Experience: 30 minutes

Each of these natural detox treatments prepares your body for the next full body cleansing session that comes after it with cold press juices and electrolyte blends between each session.

By the end of the day you will have detoxified your entire human body and reset your mind in ways that can only be described as totally transformational.
